REDWOOD CITY, Calif, – February 15, 2023 – At MWC Barcelona 2023 (Feb 27–Mar 2, 2023), Qwilt will showcase how its innovation in software and cloud services, combined with Cisco’s edge infrastructure, has created a solution enabling edge cloud services deeply embedded in service provider networks. Exhibiting alongside Cisco (Hall 3, stand #3E30), Qwilt will demonstrate how it facilitates edge cloud services in service provider networks, serving as the foundation for meeting current and future edge cloud use cases, including content distribution, IoT, and other low latency scenarios.
Today, over 150 service providers have partnered with Qwilt to enable the open edge in their networks, serving over one billion unique subscribers globally. Within media and entertainment, some of the world’s largest streaming platforms use Qwilt’s Open Edge services to deliver their content. At MWC 2023, Qwilt will show how the quality of its content delivery services consistently surpasses the performance of traditional commercial CDNs for live and on-demand streaming.
